Here is just a snap shot of some of the rescues that have found loving new homes – Great success stories

In 2015 alone I re-homed 45 dogs – Already so far in 2016 10 have gone to new homes.

Snoopy
12 months old Snoopy went to his forever home in Yorkshire – Snoopy loved the trampoline here and apparently has one next door to his new home.

Darcy
3 1/2 yr old Darcy went to his forever home in March 2016 – He also has his sibling Millie to play with now.

Montezuma
2 yr old Montezuma went to his forever home in March 2016. He also has new siblings to play with. Message from Montezuma’s new mum:

HI LYN HAD A LOVELY WALK WITH MONTY UP ON THE SUMMIT AND WE STOPPED AT THE CASTLE FOR A WALK AND HE WAS GOOD AS GOLD,THE 3 OF THEM NON STOP PLAYING, THEY HAVE REALLY HIT IT OFF. HE TRAVELLED HOME IN THE BACK OF THE CAR WITH BERTIE & WELLINGTON NO PROBLEMS AT ALL.HE HAD HIS TEA WHEN WE GOT HOME AND SETTLED DOWN IN FRONT OF THE FIRE AND SLEPT ,WE ARE ALL SO TIRED SO OFF TO BED NOW VERY LATE BUT WILL SEND YOU PHOTOS TOMORROW.WONDERFUL BOY ,THANKS SUE & CHRIS

Alfie
2yr old Alfie – A lovely boy with a very sensitive tummy, he requires a specialised diet. He went to his forever home in March 2016.  Alfie’s new mum sent this following message after his first night.

“Good am.he was with my hubby i was working nights.my hubby loves him.he is a sweet boy.he ripped his bedding my hubby’s fault as he folded it and its short for Alf.otherwise he is sweet.cant wait to go home and play with him before going to sleep.he really settled well…he checked out the rooms and lounge and bathroom and he is at home with us afterwards.sweet boy.thank you.”

Juliano (now Oscar)

4yr old Oscar’s previous owner died and the family sold him on Gumtree! I am very pleased to say that he now lives in his new forever home in Scotland.
Message from Oscar’s new family ”
Oscar (Juliano) is settling in here and we love him! Thank You !”

Bertie

Hi Lyn Wanted to let you know that Bertie has settled in great he a a brilliant personality all Bassett loves his walks, food and sleeps

Harley

Update on Harley. Below msg from his new family. Harley is a companion dog now and a very happy boy.

Hi Lyn

I would just like to say a massive thank you for picking out Harley for me and my parents. We couldn’t of dreamt of a more perfect dog, he is happy and friendly all the time and has made us all so much happier in our lives. I can’t wait when I am at work to come home and see him

He has already made a big difference with my dad, keeping him active and giving him something positive to take his mind off his illness.

Everyone who has meet him loves him and now want there own basset hound

We have not had any issues what so ever with him. He is great to walk brilliant around the house and sleeps fine at night

Daisy

5yr old Daisy – Very sweet natured girl with humans and dogs.  Found her forever home in February 2016. Look how happy she is.

Poppy

Poppy came to BHR as a very poorly pup. You can see from the images below how swollen her tummy was when she arrived. She spent some time with me, whilst she underwent treatment and some basic puppy training. She now lives in her forever home and is very content.

Rumba

Rumba went to her new home at the beginning of March 2015 after rehabilitation and a weight controlled program. She has been renamed Florence and now lives in Dorset with her new brother Monti. She has settled in so well and loves nothing more than a good walk down the beach.

Mac

Mac goes to his new home after about 4 and a half months of training and rehab. He now lives in Cornwall and happily settling in well.

Pepper
GOOD NEWS. Pepper has gone to her new home with mummy Domino and new friend Kellogg’s. This lovely lady rescues horses doomed for slaughter,her husband has two dogs from Romania I think she said. So an animal loving family.Pepper loved her speaking French to her.

Fred
The now at last spoilt Fred,it took over 6 months to find Mummy Rachelle for him
